We just got back from Reno, Nevada because we went skiing! Our family went to Mt. Rose and we had a lot of fun. Annie and I went up the green runs when we were with a class and the green runs again for free ski. When we were coming home, we sledded and had a snowball fight with our friends. We played adults vs. kids, and the kids won!! Also, I tried to build a snowman and ended up with a small, lopsided tiny snowman. But, we saw a huge, perfectly built snowman with a scarf!! We didn't build it, though.

A few weeks ago, I went to a swim meet in Saratoga High School. I swam lots of events, but didn't get a good time until my last event. During the 200 IM, I got a B time swimming it for the first time!! I was very surprised.
Last week, I had an idea that on the blog, we should have a writing contest or something. Maybe we could post a writing prompt and people that read it could participate in it. But, the contest winner wouldn't get any prize. I would just choose the best story !! Post a comment to tell me if this is a good idea or not. I got the idea from school when we did writing prompts to practice for the writing test coming up. This contest thing doesn't have to stop after the test, though. It can keep going on if we decide that this is a good idea.

Pet Fish

Merry Christmas to all of you again! Hope you got the presents that you wanted, because we did. Our family now has a small fish tank and we need help deciding on what type of fish to get. We're supposed to get 3 goldfish, preferably gold but that's another story. Does anyone know of a type of fish that thrives well in a small tank and lives long? Please post a comment here or email me at hellokittys21133@gmail.com by 12-27. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Natasha Lee
P.S- Tulsa, we live in California and we've haven't had any snow or rain either!

Second Blog

Hi! As you all know, last blog I said that we couldn't go skiing. Luckily, we went. Our family had a lot of fun skiing, as it was our first time. We went to Mt. Rose in Reno, Nevada. Now my sister and I can go on the green run! Sadly, our dad wasn't able to come because of his work. He can go up on the black diamond! The trip there was about four hours.
In the last blog, I said I would update you on how many days until Christmas. Well, CHRISTMAS EVE IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you all get the presents you want!
Also, my mom cut her other finger, so now she has two bandages on her fingers. Oh well. It's not like she wants to do it!
I think you all know about the London Olympics next year. Well, we the swimmers are also having our swim team championships! Hopefully SLST (Saint Lawrence Swim Team) will win first place in the division we get into! GOOD LUCK, GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SWIM SWIM SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all for now from, again yours truly,
Natasha Lee
P.S- I hope the people who see this will put a comment on the comment box. I want to know how the blog is doing! Thanks.

First Blog

Hi, this is the Lee family's first blog. In this first article, we're talking about Mom's stitches. Our mom got stitches just yesterday because she cut herself with a knife (yet again!) So, we want to say: PLEASE NEVER DO THAT AGAIN, MOM

Aside from that, we have been getting along fine. On Friday, I made the Geo Bee finals! The Geo Bee is a contest from fourth to eighth grades. The people that make the best score at the pretest get to go to the semifinals of the bee. I made it to the semifinals and then made it all the way to the finals! Some of the fifth graders didn't make it, though.
Our elementary school has a two-week break, so we and another family decided to go skiing. Unfortunately, we couldn't go because our mom has her finger bandaged and our friend that was going to be driving us got sick. Fortunately, we plan to go again in February if there is snow.
Speaking of Christmas break, there are SEVEN MORE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll update you on how many more days there are until St. Nick comes down your chimney!

So, that's the first blog of the Lee Family, and all by yours truly,
Natasha Lee
